Both FIAT and Alfa Romeo have unique portfolios of vehicles continue to grow in popularity and garner critical praise. When it comes to choosing the perfect car with just the right features, FIAT and Alfa Romeo offer several different options, ranging from well-equipped base models to fully spec'd-out performance machines. While not every trim package features the same amenities across these lineups, this is a general list of what each trim level will add.
FIAT
Pop
In keeping with FIAT’s unique, funky image, trim level names are also quirky and fun. The entry-level Pop trim package comes with some solid standard features like remote keyless entry, 13 different exterior colors, and FIAT’s terrific 1.4-liter, turbocharged MultiAir® four-cylinder engine. It also features a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and Bluetooth® connectivity. FIAT models may be small, but they certainly come well-equipped.
Trekking
The Trekking package is only available on the 500L and 500X and adds some sweet exterior upgrades like body-color front and rear fascias, as well as graphite and chrome accents throughout. On the 500X, FIAT’s 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine and a nine-speed transmission become available as well. On the inside, you’ll find a BeatsAudio™ Premium Sound System, leather-trimmed seats, and aluminum alloy wheels that help round out the Trekking package’s aggressively rugged look.
Abarth
Going for a FIAT Abarth vehicle is an entirely different experience altogether. Abarth cars are purely performance-oriented, and that becomes immediately available as soon as you see, hear, or drive one. Both the 124 Spider and 500 get the Abarth treatment and wear the legendary scorpion logo (pictured above). The 500 Abarth makes 160 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque from its turbocharged MultiAir® engine, rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels, and changes gear with a heavy-duty six-speed transmission. The 124 Spider Abarth uses that same engine but it produces slightly more power at 164 horsepower to create an incredible driving experience. On the inside, it gets leather sport seats, a six-speed manual transmission, and more swagger than you can shake a stick at.
Alfa Romeo
Ti Trim
While you already get an amazing performance package with any Alfa Romeo model, including features like Brembo® brakes and a powerful drivetrain, stepping up to the Ti trim offers even more. With 18-inch wheels wrapped in performance tires, the Giulia has even more grip for precision on the road or the race track. A heated steering wheel and heated seat cushions provide extra comfort while genuine wood panel inserts exude a level of added class. Additional safety features like rain detecting windshield wipers and front and rear parking sensors give you a little added security out on the road.
Quadrifoglio
For an entirely new performance experience, the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio line offers race-inspired variants of both the Stelvio and the Giulia. Both vehicles benefit from a robust increase in power output, with both vehicles boasting 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. All that power is transferred confidently to the road thanks to performance tires, race-tuned suspension, and selectable drive modes that allow the driver to get the most out of these amazing vehicles regardless of road conditions.
